The NJHS members traveled to Lott today to serve alongside the Central Texas Food Bank. Students handed out food, helped load food into vehicles, and everything in between. Everyone agreed that they would love to do it again! We are proud of these students for having willing hands and servant hearts.
It's a GREAT day to be a Bluejay!

Today, we had our 1st afterschool Art Club! We started off by reading "The Boy Who Loved Maps" and then making our very own map of a perfect place. The artistic abilities and creativity of this group are impressive! Everyone went home with their map and some paint to finish up their masterpiece. Thank you, Mrs. Reid, Mrs. Hoelscher and Mrs. Wilberg. Your help in making this happen is so appreciated! *Moms if you are missing makeup brushes....sorry! Show off your finished masterpieces in the comments below! I am already looking forward to next time! Creatively Yours, Mrs. Lange

What a TERRIFIC way to end our "T" week. This week, kindergarten kiddos learned the letter t and then had show and tell in a tent. Thank you, NJHS students, Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Pomykal, and middle school teachers, for your help setting up the tent!

In the 2nd week, the BlueJays were outmatched against a more seasoned Centex Chargers football team. From the start, the offense and defense struggled but did not give up. Highlights of the game included a 45 yard touchdown reception from Cade Ranly to Kyler Greger. A'King Clarkson-Williams also scored on a 6 yard pass from Ranly and received a pass on the PAT attempt afterwards. The final score was 55-13. The BlueJays look to rebound this week in another tough matchup against Vanguard at home in Westphalia on September 18th at 5:00. Come out and support our BlueJays!
