The BlueJay football team received their new jerseys today. Thank you to Mrs. Lloyd and our dedicated Westphalia school board!

In the 2nd week, the BlueJays were outmatched against a more seasoned Centex Chargers football team. From the start, the offense and defense struggled but did not give up. Highlights of the game included a 45 yard touchdown reception from Cade Ranly to Kyler Greger. A'King Clarkson-Williams also scored on a 6 yard pass from Ranly and received a pass on the PAT attempt afterwards. The final score was 55-13. The BlueJays look to rebound this week in another tough matchup against Vanguard at home in Westphalia on September 18th at 5:00. Come out and support our BlueJays!

Middle school students worked on various types of sentences by making their double doozie cookie sentences while listening to a song that would help them remember the lesson. Once done with the foldable and practice page, they were able to enjoy their cookie representing joining sentences. They had fun.
It's game day!! The BlueJays walked in with smiles and spirit this morning!
In music yesterday, 5th graders worked on a playing a Rondo with the rhyme, Tea For Me. Students selected various animals that began with the letters a, c, and d. Students were then divided into groups. Each group had a different note to play using various animal names that started with the note they were playing.
Kindergarten and First grade combined together for pe this past Friday. Both grades did knee pulls, Frankensteins, ran, and had free play outside.
Second and Third grade had a blast playing Over the Net after they did a Tabata workout.
