On behalf of the NJHS, thank you for the snacks and toiletries for Heritage House! Westphalia students brought in nearly 290 pounds of donations. Second grade and eighth grade earned a nugget tray for their class parties. Great job, Bluejays!
The 8th grade ELA class performed A Christmas Carol after reading the novel in class. They worked hard making their costumes and practicing their parts. Fun was had by all.
Kids have been working hard practicing for the upcoming Christmas concert. Hope to see you there on Tuesday, December 16th at 6:00 PM.

First Grade investigating soil erosion.
Our December Art Club was a success! The kiddos made ornaments with sea glass and Christmas cards. I missed taking any pictures of the cards, they were so cute!! We even enjoyed some Christmas singing!
Thank you to ALL the students and staff who have helped trim the Christmas tree in the library! It is well loved and enjoyed by everybody!!

The Westphalia NJHS is hosting a snack & toiletry drive. All items will be donated to the Heritage House in Rosebud. Help us spread some extra cheer for the residents this Christmas season!

NJHS cleaned up Celebration Park as their monthly Community Service project!
Did you know the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade began in 1924 and added its famous balloons in 1927? 🎈 After reading Balloons Over Broadway, our Kinder, 1st, 4th, and 5th graders brought the story to life with a parade of their own. Enjoy Westphalia ISD’s Thanksgiving tradition! 🦃💛
